A Santa Fe senior session with mountain views and desert vibes
A senior at Santa Fe Prep, Helen's genuine kindness only enhances her dedication to academics and athletics. As an avid cross country runner and ski mountaineer athlete, Helen maintains her fitness to high levels and competed in the skimo championships in Norway last year. She hopes that these interests lead her on a unique path as she decides where to attend college.
For her session, Helen was inspired by on of my recent senior portrait galleries from a summer session in Taos. She wanted to a place with dramatic views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and open fields. I knew this spot in the Nambe Badlands would be perfect. We had intermittent cloud cover, some golden light, and then spectacular cotton candy skies. Helen's outfit selection, with yellows and blues, complemented perfectly the various backdrops and light for this memorable, ethereal session.
