Megan and Chris's Valle Grande Maternity Session
It's safe to say that this area is one of my absolute favorite places on Earth, and this summer I got to shoot here more than ever before. Tall grass, wildflowers, dramatic skies, and sweeping vistas made the Jemez and Valle Grande spectacular for photography sessions. Megan and Chris met me at Las Conchas Trailhead, where we followed the East Fork River to a beautiful patch of black-eyed Susans and ox-eye daisies. As always, the unique rock formations created interesting backdrops for the couple.
From Las Conchas, we backtracked to the Valle Grande for a lovely sunset. The rainclouds during golden hour gave everything a bluish hue that created such a contrasting image set to our first location. I absolutely love how these images turned out and how versatile this location continues to be for couples and families.
