Red rock and cotton candy skies create a dream world for these maternity photographs
Abiquiu gets a lot of time on here, and for good reason. The majestic red mudstone formations and iconic Pedernal to the southwest serve as one of the our state's more unique backdrops. But this day was especially beautiful, because of the quality of light, the gorgeous skies, the cool greens, and Nicole and Sean, who will be welcoming their first child in September. When Nicole received her images, she said, "It looks like a dream world." It truly was a dreamy day in Abiquiu. And I'm really looking forward to capturing newborn images when baby arrives.
