Pops of color at the Santa Fe Botanical Garden

With spring just around the corner, I’m excited to spotlight both this beautiful senior and one of my favorite additions to my location guide: the Santa Fe Botanical Garden.


Tucked into the juniper-dotted foothills of Santa Fe, the garden offers a stunning blend of natural texture and curated beauty. Expansive mountain backdrops frame the landscape, while vibrant seasonal blooms provide rich pops of color at every turn. The charming red bridge and dynamic garden vignettes create so many opportunities for portraiture.


Arianna met me there toward the end of summer for her senior session, when the light was golden and the gardens were still alive with color. I loved moving through each little scene with her, capturing a range of images that felt effortless, joyful, and completely her. The variety that this location offers makes it such a gem for senior portraits, especially as we step into a new season of growth and celebration.
