Alison's Family Sesh in the Nambe Badlands
It feels so good to be back in Santa Fe after almost a month of travel. If you missed it, my family spent some time in Crete and Istanbul during the month of June. My first summer session really kicked things off on a high note with a sweet morning family session at the Nambe Badlands. Alison plans to move to Washington, D.C. with her two children in a few months, so she wanted to document this moment in an iconic New Mexico landscape. The Nambe Badlands fit the bill. I was delighted to see that summer rains have brought out the beautiful sage greens of this area, and we were graced with cotton candy skies and 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains. This is definitely a new favorite summer shooting location, especially at sunrise.
