She said "yes" in the high desert mountains

Ricky and Brooke’s long-distance love story finally crossed paths again in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Brooke’s hometown and a perfect place for a proposal. With Ricky working overseas in Amsterdam and Brooke finishing school in Colorado, Ricky planned the ultimate surprise for their Thanksgiving reunion. Backlit by beautiful golden light, we made our way up to one of my favorite spots, overlooking the freshly snow-capped Sangre de Cristo Mountains. With a subtle cue, Ricky got down on one knee and presented Brooke with a beautiful pear-shaped diamond. She said "yes!"
