Wedding Day at Western New Mexico University
A boy from Canada and a girl from Florida meet in the "middle of nowhere" New Mexico while working at the Chino copper mine. A summer of camping trips later, they decided to commit to a long-distance relationship while Sofia finished school. Five years later, Sofia and Seth moved in together in Phoenix, adopted a couple of cats and their sweet doggie, Gordie.
Sofia, who loves distance running, convinced Seth to tackle a 20-mile training run in the Grand Canyon in November of 2022. During the run, he proposed. They returned to where they met for a beautiful ceremony on Western New Mexico University's campus, where Sofia's father lives. This unique Silver City wedding is one for the books!
